|Heiner Brau Strawberry Ale|
|Made with Louisiana strawberries, this ale is available year round, only on draft.|

Had this one on tap at a local seafood restaurant. It poured a hazy yellow with a nice white head and beautiful lacing down to the end. It smells like…what else? Strawberries. I really enjoy the smell. Southeastern Louisiana is known for their great strawberries and they are used to create this ale. Mouthfeel is light and a little watery with nice carbonation. Taste is strawberries, malts, grain and bread. It’s a little sweet, but very well balanced with the strawberries and malts. Overall, this is a very refreshing and enjoyable ale and I look forward to it each year at this time. It’s not something I could drink a lot of, but only occasionally. I would pair it with spicy seafood and sweets.
I give it three stars, Very Fine.
