|5.2% alcohol. Introduced in 1383. Brewed in Germany. An InBev brand. "This typical original Munich beer is a light bottom-fermented beer with original high wort. It is magnificently refreshing, slightly dry, spicy, with a trace of malt and delicately bitter. Brewed according to the Purity Law by using nothing else but hops, malt, yeast and water. A genuine Löwenbräu."

|Review||Lowenbrau Original has a thick, stark-white head and a clear, bubbly yellow-golden appearance, with a decent amount of lacing left behind. The aroma is sweet, lightly-toasted barley malt, and the flavor is of sweet, light malt, biscuit, and a pleasant hop bitterness in the middle and end of the sip. The mouthfeel is light and watery, and Lowenbrau finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, mostly dry, and highly drinkable. This is a very good beer, and I rate it three stars.|
