|A dark, reddish-brown Trappist beer with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the fragrance of special malt and leaves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavor is rich and complex, herby and fruity with a fresh-bitter finish. It is a balanced quality beer with a soft feel in the mouth and a long, dry aftertaste. ABV 7%|

Appearance: Hazy deep reddish brown. Big beige head, not lasting but lots of nice laces staying. Some sediments.
Aroma / Smell: Peaches, citrus- possibly grapefruit and a little banana.
Taste: Fresh sweet fruit. Caramel, and little dry bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Extremely pleasant to drink. Carbonic acid is low. Fantastic harmoni and a ligth saur/sweet bitterfinish in the end.
Overall: Everbody should have a chance to enjoy this beer just once in a lifetime. I like this just a little better than its brother the Tripel. Crème fraîche for a connoisseur, in style!.
