|Saint Arnold Summer Pils|
|Introduced in 1997. 4.9% alcohol. 41 IBU. Originally called Summerfest. The first lager produced by the brewery. "A true Bohemian-style pilsner. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is perfect for a hot summer day. Saint Arnold Summer Pils has a delicate, sweet malt taste complemented by an abundant hop aroma and flavor. This beer is brewed with fine German malt, and a copious quantity of "noble" hops imported from the Czech Republic."|

A nice amount of smoke was present when I popped the cap of this 12 oz. bottle. It poured a light clear golden with lots of bubbles streaming up my glass and left wispy lacing. Smell is very faint, almost undetectable, maybe some light fruit. It has a light body with good carbonation. Taste is very simple, but good. I'm picking up some light fruit, some hops with a slightly bitter finish. Overall, this was a good summer brew, nothing fancy but very refreshing. I'll give it 3 stars, Very Fine.
