A product of Hijos de Rivera SA of Spain. Established in 1906. "Beer of shining golden color that comes from a selection of especially bitter Maltas and hops and its process of baking, fermentation and maturation passes throughout 20 days. It causes that this beer tastes pleasant." 5.5% alcohol. "In mouth it appears neutral and light, with a shade very marked of hop flavor." |

| Review | Estrella Galicia has a very thin, white head, and a clear, golden appearance, with low to medium carbonation. Lacing is scant. The aroma and taste are predominately of bread, with some hop bitterness on the back-end of the sip, but that is subdued. Mouth-feel is light to moderate, and Estrella Galicia finishes refreshing and not as light as American lagers. Overall, even though this is a rather mundane beer, I did think it was enjoyable, and I rate it 3 stars (very fine). VIDEO REVIEW: -Website Link- |
