My first, part of a 4 bottle Unibroue "Taster Pack".
From a 12 oz bottle, this one poured a dark hazy orange with a nice white head that left some lacing. Smell is fruity, bananas and citrus. Also malty and earthy. Mouthfeel is medium, kind of oily with nice carbonation and very smooth. Taste is really nice. Fruity, citrus, malty, earthy and not refined with a little bit of a smoky and bitter finish. It also has some alcohol present. Just lots of complex robust flavors in this great Amber Ale that is also easy to drink. Overall, I found this one very satisfying and I would pair it with rich foods. I probably wouldn't drink this one in the heat of the summer, but would the rest of the year.
I'm giving this Amber Ale 4 1/2 stars, Outstanding. Go get some, C'est Bon!
