Personally, I've never tried this beer before. I'm wondering, is this all hype? Is this beer really that good? It almost seems like if you want to get noticed or fit in on some sites, you have to mention this beer. How do you feel about this beer?

I've never had this beer before either. However, I'm thinking it must be pretty good because of it's high ratings.

I ran into a fellow beer blogger who I literally traded my glass with to avoid dumping it out in the grass. It looked like used motor oil in the glass and just tasted like a train wreck to me. I sampled almost 75 beers at that festival and only dumped one, so that should tell you what I thought of it. I would like to try it again on a non-90 degree day in the heat before passing final judgement, but it has a long uphill battle to get back to my good side after that first impression.

Most of the other people I have talked to that tried it at that festival said they really enjoyed it, although I hear that it may have had a lot of yeast kicked up in it from being transported. I saw the guys carrying the keg about 30 minutes before it was tapped.. so who knows.
