I must say I'm really disappointed to see what their beer section has become. Seems like every time I go there, the beer section becomes smaller and smaller and it is being moved to a less prominent area. I guess they have their reasons, maybe it doesn't sell as well as their wine. Don't get me wrong, they still have a decent small selection, but I used to go there back in the mid 90's and they had a huge selection of beer and it used to be the place to go. I guess things change. Just kind of sad to think of what it used to be.

It's really sad to see what it's become. You are correct about Rouses. They have a really good selection of beer. I went in there last week and found some really great stuff.

Stopped by Martin's this week hoping to pick up something new... their beer selection seems to get smaller each time I go. They do have a good selection, it's just nothing new and very small.

Sad. But, I noticed that Sidney's, in the French Quarter, seems to be getting better. Yes, Rouses is good, but it's a little expensive.

Then, suddenly, it was gone.
