First and foremost, I'm not preaching. I must say this movie was an excellent movie. I read the book, I have a yellow lab, and couldn't wait to see this film.
I'm going to "pseudo-SPOIL" it though for you though...in case you don't have a television and heard about it...or don't read reviews online. I'll say it here....in a different kind-of-way.
As family friendly as the previews are, you would think it's a harmless Benji like movie to compete with the Disney flick this year.
It's not.
If you're the kind of person that was hoping the Titanic would make it to New York in the movie.....you're in for a trip!
/spoiler
So, for the movie-goers. If you're a parent, and haven't taken your child(ren) to the movies yet...I would give second thought to Marley and Me, and consider the Disney movie.
I reccomend the movie for all dog lovers, from childhood to current, or read the book. I stress it is certainly not a Rated PG movie where it is inviting for children(plus the ads give you the impression its safe).
Anyone else seen it yet?
