Did another major beer stock up trip in Fort Collins today -- lots of beers to review in the coming weeks/months!

Here is what I picked up:
(sorry no pictures, photography is not in my skillset)

Kannah Creek Winter Soulstiz Robust Red Ale
Pateros Creek Cache La Porter
Pateros Creek Old Town Ale (Kolsch)
Pateros Creek Rustic Red Ale (Irish red)
Bitburger Premium Pils
Pyramid Hefeweizen
Pyramid Snow Cap Ale
Pyramid Fascinator Dopplebock
Pyramid Oatmeal Stout
Moosehead Lager (in cans -- I have only tried it in bottles)
Olympia Beer
Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin Oatmeal Stout
Bavik Premium Pils
Boulevard Irish Red Ale
Belhaven Scottish Ale (in cans -- I have only tried it in bottles)
Kirin Ichiban Beer
Odell Loose Leaf American Session Ale (brand new release)
Phuket Lager
Big Horn Buttface Amber Ale

-- ALL of these beers were on sale -- some for 50% or more off

-- ALL of them I will be trying for the first time except for the Moosehead and Belhaven

Beer-- what a great hobby!

Made another trip to Fort Collins yesterday on business, so I picked up some more new beers to sample:

-- Steinlager (New Zealand)
-- Bohemia (Mexico)
-- Kronenbourg 1664 (France)
-- Fort Collins Rocky Mountain IPA
-- Shiner Wild Hare Pale Ale
-- Left Coast Trestles IPA
-- Imperial Cerveza (Costa Rica)
-- Micheleb Lager (have not had this since I was a teenager!)
-- Sierra Nevada Summerfest Lager

If you read my reviews of the Pateros Creek (based in Fort Collins) beers, you may have noticed that I pointed out off-flavors and quality control issues. I stopped at the brewery yesterday and exchanged the remaining 'bad beers' for new ones. Unfortunately when I got home and opened them, they are just as bad. I predict this brewery will not make it unless they clean up their act pronto.

Ugh, that's a shame. I be you won't encounter that with Michelob nor Bohemia.

Yeah, no kidding Jay. I love supporting craft breweries, but I really appreciate the consistency of the larger craft and macro breweries.

I haven't sampled the Michelob or the Bohemia yet. I am really enjoying the Imperial Cerveza from Costa Rica. Every can tastes the same (not a bad thing at all!)

Today I picked up the following (some new to me, some I have previously reviewed).
-- Goose Island Sofie Belgian Style Ale
-- Uinta Wyld Extra Pale Ale
-- Landshark Lager
-- Rainier Lager
-- 12 beers of Mexico (3 each of Dos Equis Azul, Sol, Dos Equis Lager, and Tecate).

Also, I have a friend making a trip to the Upper Midwest this month. I have sent a 'shopping list' of beer with her and am hoping she finds some beers that I can't get in my area.
