There's one of those Linens N Things GOB sales and Im thinking about picking it up, because you can steam and boil with it was well. Good for lobster in the summer. ANy thoughts?![]()

I guess the entire chain is going out of business? Anyway, if I saw one of those here I would of jumped on it to at least give it a try. It is a bit small as I normally boil 7 gallons so I can get 6 gallons to the fermenter and have 5 gallons left to the keg after racking, I have actually been looking at ways to convert my brewery to electric so I can brew inside. While most of you have the need because it gets so cold outside I want to brew inside in the summer because it is so dang hot here. What was they asking for it there?

I think it is a very good way to start out. Boil overs do occur when boiling a full batch but with a spray bottle with water and an attentive eye they can be avoided.

I looked at our local store and they didn't have any. I will have to look at the hardware store. They have every type of boil pot and burner one could think of.

I am curious as to knowing why you want to start brewing indoors w/ the costs of electricity, cooling your home, switching from propane to electricity, What about brewing at night or an hour after sunset. I lived in Phoenix AZ for about 14 years and could BBQ/grill outdoors year round. Or under a large oak tree. The bugs I forgot about those maybe a yellow bug light??? It just seams redundant to run the AC and make something hot in the house you are trying to keep cool. I am probably poking my nose where it doesn't belong. Just tiring to figure out the prows and cons.
