For added layers of complexity and a peppery spice, we added coriander and Grains of Paradise to complement the citrus flavors. The resulting brew is reminiscent of the original Belgian white ales, with medium body and slightly sweet notes followed by a crisp finish and a slight lingering spiciness. Belgian-style white ales, or witbiers, have a long history of unique ingredients, as Belgian brewers experimented with spices brought to Europe during the early spice trade. We set out to build on the Belgian brewing tradition and tried several variations until we found a beer that would be refreshing, with just the right balance of spices and citrus. -Website Link- White Lantern is available in our Spring Thaw variety pack as well as 6-packs (beginning this month). ![]() | ||
