The suits were filed in Pennsylvania, California and other states on behalf of consumers allegedly cheated out of the beverage's stated alcohol content. Budweiser and Michelob each boast being 5 percent alcohol, while some "light" versions are said to be just over 4 percent. -Website Link-

In the far distant past (mid-1980's) I considered applying to law school. I changed my mind when I read that the US had as many lawyers as the rest of the nations of the world combined. It seems that for many of our fellow Americans their great "hope" for wealth is to either 1) hit the lottery or 2) become a 'victim' so they can sue someone with deep pockets. Also, does this come as a surprise to anyone? Anyone who drinks these beers must notice how watery they are, right? If people are drinking cases of BMC and still standing.... I think that should tell you something. Let these same people drink a few good craft beers and see how they make out.

A good judge would have the lawyers that brought such a ridiculous case disbarred.
